Two things I did to save money: One, I bought a “Dave Ramsey” mobile from Joey’s brother. Joey Huff works with me at PFE. It’s a 2002 Honda Accord with a pretty messed-up hood and front bumper. However, it drives without any flaws and gets 30 mpg even with the ac blowing full blast. It’s already saved me over $ 280 dollars last month in gas. Yes, the Nissan Titan has 300 hp but only gets about 14 mpg on the road. It’s kinda odd to charge up a system while working out of the back of a Honda Accord. I usually use the Titan, but when it’s out on service calls, the Honda is the only vehicle left.
Two, I bought a Fuji Sunfire bicycle today from Jim over at Ride South. It gets unlimited mpg! I had a checkup with Dr. Richard Russell this past Thursday, and he advised me to work on lowering my total cholesterol number. I don’t like statin drugs, or any drugs for that matter. So, the bicycle is part of my regimen. And, I need to distribute out about 3000 PFE30 door hanger magnets in my spare time!
